Formulated on TDA Logic, successor design logic to 1940s HLB.
For established and global brands: custom formulation on TDA Logic, HLB-to-TDA conversion of existing formulas, and NanoBase™ supply at production volume, all under NDA.
Established brands bring us the formulation, not only the raw material: TDA Logic was defined here, and NanoBase™ is made here.

Three ways to bring TDA Logic into your line.
Custom formulation on TDA Logic
Brief us on the product. The lab designs it on NanoBase™, places every active by domain, and develops it to a sample you can test.
HLB-to-TDA conversion
Move an existing formula off its emulsifier system and onto NanoBase™, keeping your actives and your product's identity.
NanoBase™ at production volume
Made in our own production facility, with TDS, SDS, CoA and a DLS report on every lot, shipped to your contract manufacturer.
Engaged by a global beauty brand through the NotedSource expert network.
Performance & luxury by design.
HLB chooses an emulsifier so oil and water stay mixed. TDA Logic specifies more: a particle size DLS-characterised every batch, an electrostatic (DLVO) stabilisation specification, and the domain each ingredient self-partitions into. Adding high-cost actives to a conventional HLB emulsion specifies none of these. What is TDA Logic →
| Conventional HLB formula | Formulated on TDA Logic | |
|---|---|---|
| Design basis | An emulsifier blend matched to the oil phase | A tri-domain Architecture (design specification); each ingredient placed by domain |
| Particle size | Not specified | ~185 nm design target, DLS-characterised every batch |
| Stabilisation | Emulsifier balance | Designed to an electrostatic (DLVO) stabilisation specification |
| Adding a new active | Often means re-balancing the emulsifier system | Checked against its domain before bench work |
| Manufacturing | Heat-and-hold emulsification | Room-temperature completion on standard equipment |

A mutual NDA, then we map your product, actives and claims onto NanoBase™ and confirm fit.
The lab formulates on TDA Logic and iterates to a sample your team can evaluate.
Lots are DLS-characterised in our own nanoscience lab, and the report travels with the formula.
Formula, process and specifications for your contract manufacturer, with DLS bridge studies to confirm the base at their site.
No MOQ, with NanoBase™ supplied at volume from our own facility.
You own what you build. We keep how the base is made.

See your NanoBase™ cost per unit.
Pick your partnership tier, product size, run size and the share of NanoBase™ in the formula. You will see the NanoBase™ cost for the run and the NanoBase™ cost carried in each unit.
Priced at your order's volume level from the March 2026 schedule. The whole order takes the per-liter rate of the highest volume tier it reaches, so smaller runs cost more per liter. This is the NanoBase™ Architecture only, not finished-goods manufacturing, filling, packaging, shipping or hazmat. Custom volumes and regional exclusivity on request; book a call for a firm quote.
Straight answers.
Can you convert our existing formula?
Yes. HLB-to-TDA conversion moves an existing formula off its emulsifier system and onto NanoBase™, keeping your actives. Share it once a mutual NDA is in place.
Do we have to change our contract manufacturer?
No. NanoBase™ is completed at room temperature on standard equipment, so your current CM can run it. We supply a transfer package and DLS bridge studies.
Who owns the formula?
The finished formula and its documentation are yours once development is paid, under our Terms. Only how NanoBase™ itself is made stays proprietary to us.
What volumes can you supply?
From 1 L samples to 55-gallon drums, made in our own production facility, with no MOQ and a CoA and DLS report on every lot.
What is TDA Logic?
TDA Logic (Tri-Domain Architecture logic) is the formulation framework Pensive Beauty® Nanoscience Labs defined in 2025. Where HLB selects an emulsifier, TDA Logic places each ingredient in a domain of a fixed nanoscale architecture. NanoBase™ is the Architecture engineered to it. Read more →
Is nanomaterial labelling required?
The EU defines a cosmetic nanomaterial as insoluble or biopersistent, intentionally manufactured, and 1 to 100 nm in size. NanoBase™ is designed as soluble, self-assembled colloidal domains, not an insoluble or biopersistent material. Brands confirm nano status per market: your safety assessor confirms the status of your finished product, and we supply a nano-status statement under NDA.
